Many Caribbean resorts offer complimentary wedding packages. These usually require booking a certain number of rooms or staying a minimum number of nights. Specialty wedding services can be added on at extra cost. Resorts that do not include weddings in the package price will often throw in valuable extras for the bride and groom.

Some resorts even let you share your wedding with those back home. Couples Resorts in Jamaica for instance offers WedCasts, a live feed of the ceremony that friends can watch on a special web page. Many other resorts and cruise ships offer similar programs.

A wedding at sea is an excellent choice if you’d like to set sail on your honeymoon right after the ceremony. Princess Cruises’ popular Tie the Knot program allows the captain to marry couples while the ship is at sea. You may also choose to get married in a tropical port of call. Most cruise lines offer shipboard weddings in port or can whisk you away to a romantic island setting complete with a champagne lunch and island tour.

A Justice of the Peace will perform weddings at most destinations. Please give us plenty of notice if you are planning a religious ceremony.
